From CDG Airport to Paris
Charles de Gaulle lies about 30 km north-east of the centre. The usual route follows the A1, the Autoroute du Nord, into Paris at Porte de la Chapelle; for the eastern districts the A3 towards Porte de Bagnolet is sometimes quicker. Outside rush hour the drive takes about 45 minutes. On weekday mornings, or on a Friday evening, allow up to an hour and a quarter.
